Rainbow Medicine has opened a second location in Freshwater on Sydney's Northern Beaches, complementing the existing Lane Cove clinic. The Freshwater site operates Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and serves patients from the broader Manly, Dee Why, Brookvale and Curl Curl catchment.

The expansion responds to a long-running pattern of patient enquiries from postcodes 2096, 2099 and 2095, where the round trip to Lane Cove for a one-hour appointment becomes a half-day commitment. The Freshwater clinic offers a subset of services to begin with, focusing on the highest-demand modalities.

"Patients on the Northern Beaches have been incredibly patient with us for years," said Dr Christine Shen. "A trip across the bridge for a 45-minute session is a lot to ask. Freshwater means we can meet them closer to home, with the same standard of care."

Booking for the Freshwater clinic is now live online. Patients can also continue to book at Lane Cove — the two clinics share patient records (with consent), so practitioners can pick up exactly where the last session left off regardless of location.

Rainbow Medicine expects the Freshwater roster to expand to a four-day-per-week schedule within twelve months, subject to demand. Parking is available on Rowe Street and metered on the surrounding streets; the clinic is a 5-minute walk from the Freshwater bus interchange.
