First Time With Us?
You'll receive a patient intake questionnaire to complete online in your preferred language. This gives Dr Shen your health history before you arrive so your 90 minutes is spent on diagnosis and treatment, not paperwork.
Arrive 5 minutes early. You'll be taken to a private treatment room where Dr Shen will review your intake form, take your pulse (at 12 positions), examine your tongue and ask clarifying questions before your first treatment.
Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that can be rolled up to the elbows and knees. Many points used in treatment are on the arms, lower legs, abdomen and back — access to these areas makes treatment easier.
We are a HICAPS provider — bring your private health fund card and claim your rebate on the spot. Payment is accepted by card, cash and EFTPOS. Please check your fund's Chinese medicine inclusions before attending.
Dr Shen will explain what she found, what your TCM diagnosis means, and what your treatment plan looks like. If herbal medicine is prescribed, you'll receive your formula before leaving, with clear instructions.
Between appointments, you can reach the clinic by email or phone if you have questions about your herbs or notice changes. Dr Shen reviews all patient queries personally.
