While UltraFlora Probiotic + Multivitamin contains 15 nutrients plus 2 probiotics, 13 key nutrients are highlighted because they meet the Recommended Daily Intake (RDI) and are considered essential for daily nutritional support. Iron, for example, is included at 5 mg, a meaningful amount for a multivitamin but below the full RDI, which is why it isn't counted among the key nutrients. This level balances nutritional support with safety, as higher doses may not suit everyone. Magnesium and calcium are essential minerals, but they're needed in much larger amounts than other nutrients. Effective doses would require very large tablets or several capsules, while the small amounts often used in multivitamins provide limited benefit and can interfere with the absorption of other minerals. Magnesium and calcium are also best taken separately, in specific forms and doses.
